Is it a rake? Is it a shovel? Is it a fork? No it’s a GARK!
Hall 5, stand B88
The Golden Gark® will be featured at this years GLEE from Sept 20-22nd. It has already taken both Hampton Court Flower Show and Tatton Park by storm and Britain is now in the grip of Garkmania! This wonderfully versatile, new garden tool proved to be a huge hit when it debuted at these shows, and it was voted one of the 10 “Must Have” things to take away.
Now you can see it for yourself at this years GLEE. As at Hampton and Tatton, we are confident that visitors will be mesmerized by the Gark and its multiple uses, and again they will be delighted at how light but strong the product is. Comments like “Fantastic Product .....I can see myself using that a lot” and “Congratulations on designing a Tool that works” sum up the public’s enthusiasm for the first really innovative gardening break through since the Lawn mower!
Shaped like a concave rake, with a long handle, the Gark is the very light weight, multifunctional brain child of Jan Luik, the Dutch owner of ERGO Gardening Tools.
Originally designed to lift horse dung in fields, it soon became apparent that it was ideal for collecting and removing all kinds of materials from their backyard. Since 2005, more than 200,000 Golden Garks have been sold in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, which led him to realise that here was an innovation with widespread appeal.
Jan’s mission statement is: ‘a GOLDEN GARK in every Shed’. To help in this mission, Jan has brought on board UK experts, The Garden Works Ltd, who provide solutions to gardeners, retailers, manufacturers and marketers, and are pioneering the launch into the UK.
The Secret of the Gark is in the simplicity of its design.
- Its Ergonomically designed to put the user in control and eliminate fatigue and back ache from repetitiveuse andbending.
- Its built using quality materials that are strong but lightweight and will not rust.
- it has multiple uses from Raking / Shoveling and Sifting ....on all sorts of surfaces
- Ideal for removing debris from Shingle Paths & Drives, Weeds from Ponds, Moss and leaves from Lawns, Pet Poops, wood chippings, fallen fruits etc...
- ...also great for horse owners wanting to clean up paddocks and pastures.
This product has got to be seen to appreciate it’s many facets and flexibility, so come along to our stand at GLEE to feel and experience this innovation for yourself and meet Jan Luik, the inventor.
